Underground (U-Bahn) Extension of Line 6 in Garching

• Extension of the underground/subway line 6 from the existing station “Garching Hochbrück” and station “Garching” to the terminal station “Garching-Forschungszentrum”.
• The City of Garching is directly connected to the city centre/downtown Munich with trains running every ten (10) minutes.
• The new track and station were opened on 14 October 2006.
• Residents were not disturbed as the track runs mainly underground.
